February 6th, 2011 - Super Bowl Sunday

John, Larry, Paula and I went to church at 9:00AM on Sunday morning.  After arriving at home we ate breakfast and the guys settled in to watch the pre-game shows for the Super Bowl.  I put a pork roast in the oven to take over to Lynn and Dicks at 2:00PM. Paula and I headed to Kayenta to go rollerblading.  We were in for a surprise.  Although driving in the car around Kayenta seemed very flat, however, once we put blades on we found that it was a gradual climb but boy was it a work out, especially since there was a strong headwind.  We bladed for about an hour and felt that between the hills, strong winds, and numerous cars that it just wasn't as fun as when we go back home on a rolling hill, low traffic,  country road that we enjoy blading on.  However, we still had a wonderful time and enjoyed looking at all the 1/2 million to 1 million dollar (or more) homes.  What a beautiful place to live.  However, it sounds like everyone goes away from that area during the summer due to extreme heat in the canyon.

We arrived back at the condo around 1:30 and then we all headed over to Lynn & Dicks at 2:00 for a Super Ball party!  Way to go Packers - we had a wonderful time with wonderful friends.  Overall another great-great day!
